Stacy's Penitence

Hawthorne Heightslook-alike Quartet Stacy’s Penitence have been making rounds of the circuit forquite some time and have recently kicked back with a spate of mind-bogglingoriginals on cyberspace.
If there isone thing I and anybody else listening to SP would or should take; it’s that-Music knows no boundaries. The band takes a raw, heated and fun loving approachto their music, managing to provoke and adulterate your thoughts in theprocess.
These fourMizoram lads are the sauce to the Indian-Indie rock sandwich-They pull togetherthe solid sliced fundamentals of candid, shout-loud songs from bands like DeathCab for Cutie and Human Abstract- yet still manage to cover the acquired tasteof storytelling lyrics- an art that was once favored by Bridgend sweethearts‘Bullet for my Valentine’. It’s also impressive (if not awe-inspiring)  how the band manages to remain influenced by alarge array of Screamo and Hardcore bands whilst having weaved enough of theirown uplifting, tone-smart quality into the music, making them incomparable toany singular band in today’s scene.
