Released inthe bloomy spring of 2010, ‘Demo’ is Digital Suicide’s debut studio effort. Thecd flows in a premeditated stable pace, without a deficit in quality despitethe short song structures. The opening track ‘The Prophet’ lends credence to DS’sability of devastating all limits of human imagination, deconstructing rockn’roll to the most rawest of forms. The time signatures are finely cut, thebass is strong and boomy, the vocals liquid and the guitar riffs absolutelyepic. The second track, ‘Ninja’ is one of DS’s newer pieces andbrings to the fore, the mindboggling guitar talents of Veterans D’pak Borah andDaniel Langthasa- two of the most respected guitar maestros of the presentepoch . Another track to really watch out for is ‘Overdrive’. The essence ofthis track and the Ep as a whole is brought out by the sludge-tinted riffs andsmooth dynamics( Not Programmed btw!). Saving the best for the last,’ ‘Amnesia’is all out intensity garnished with an anguish-ridden bass-track andrabid vocals.
Let theDigital madness begin!
